Built in the 1950’s, a historical and imposing mansion in the town of Canela reveals through its architecture, decor, landscape and services, a tradition of European hospitality
The intimate atmosphere is the work of the owners – the São Paulo natives Paulo Leonhardt, a business manager, and Débora Pieri Leonhardt, a journalist, who left their busy São Paulo lives and important jobs in companies such as Coca-Cola and Kaiser to seek quality of life and the challenge of running their own hospitality business. The attention to detail reassures one that everything has been thought through to provide a peaceful and romantic stay. The owners are personally involved in managing the Pousada and make a point of welcoming guests themselves..
Canela is a touristic center close to the most beautiful natural attractions, like Caracol Cascade, the Ferradura Park, and the Cachoeiras Park, where various adventure options such as rafting, rappel, canyoning, trekking, cascading and Land Rover rides are on offer.
